This “denim” bag from Bottega Veneta caught my eye recently — I love the black and navy woven together!

This would be a great bridge piece if you often wear both black and navy, but I also love that there's a certain IYKYK quality to it, where it might just look all black in certain lights or just dark blue in others.

The bag is (gulp) $5500 at Neiman Marcus, but there are a number of pieces with the same color scheme, including a card case that is merely $390.

I had the Maison de Sabré AirTag charms on my list of possible Coffee Break ideas — they're so fun and colorful! But now they have these adorable “Sabremoji” charms, designed to look like different fruits. Love!

I mentioned this product in my roundup of the big Amazon sales last week, but: this is one of my favorite purchases of the last six months or so, and has become my go-to choice for my 1 minute-just-running-errands makeup routine.

(The full just-running-errands makeup routine: sunscreen, this Youthforia liquid blush, this e.l.f. undereye concealer/highlighter, and the featured lip gloss.)

I don't actually know of an American product that compares to this one — it goes on like a liquid, and has an immediate finish like a shine (not sticky but definitely shiny). The shine fades pretty quickly (30 minutes? 60 minutes?) and you're left with a tint and — somehow — moisturized lips. I'd say the tint and moisture lasts three hours, but I haven't clocked it.

Almost all of the colors are like a MLBB tint… very subtle shades.

I had bought the color “Rose in Mind” previously, and bought two more that haven't arrived yet: Mauve Chaos (pictured) and Berry Pretty. I would say that the color Rose in Mind is accurately depicted in the product images.

Peripera is a Korean makeup brand that sells at drugstore prices on Amazon; this one is showing as under $10 for me today.

(You may be wondering how I found such a random thing… I had a Sephora lip gloss, bought on sale, that I loved during the pandemic — they were popularized at the time for not coming off on your mask. When Sephora discontinued it I found that it was a dupe for this type of Korean lip gloss. I've bought similar products from a few different brands, but this Peripera one is my favorite thus far.)

Oooh: this Tom Ford bag at MyTheresa looks fabulous — I love the size in proportion to the shoulder straps and handles.

It's $2190, and is 12.5″ tall by 20″ wide by 8″ deep, so quite large. The handles are 20″. Bergdorf Goodman has a similar option.

The first day of the Amazon Prime Day sales has begun and it's actually great this year; see our roundup here… one of the big things I'm considering getting (that hadn't been on my radar previously) is the Whoop 4.0 — I've heard great things about it for tracking sleep and more.

As I often do, I went back and looked through the comments to see what Corporette readers had said about it… some sample comments:

• I got a Whoop band at the beginning of the pandemic and it’s been the absolute best way to care for myself and respect where my body is daily. Highly recommend if you’re in a high-paced, stressful job and/or if you enjoy working out.

I don't know why I never tried an electric toothbrush until this year, but when my dentist recommended one like this, the Oral-B Pro 1000, I finally did. I wish I had gotten one earlier, because I love it! When the rechargeable battery died the other day (my fault — I'd ignored the low-battery light), I had to use my regular toothbrush, and it just couldn't compare.

This brush is part of Oral-B's Pro series of electric toothbrushes. The top model in their high-end series, iO, is $380 (!), but Pro series starts at under $20, with the Pro 100. (I don't really need Bluetooth and AI tech in my toothbrush!)

My favorite feature of my new brush — besides the fact that it cleans better than a manual one — is that it uses a particular vibration pattern to tell you when it's time to move on to a new part of your mouth, giving each quadrant 30 seconds. It doesn't shut off after 2 minutes, though, so you can repeat any areas if needed. Another welcome feature: The brush head stops moving if you're brushing too hard.

If I were going to spend more on an electric brush, I'd buy a model that's a bit quieter with a longer battery life, but right now, this one's good enough for me. (You can always just leave it in the charger 24/7 and not worry about battery life.)

The Pro 1000 toothbrush from Oral-B is under $50 at Amazon and available in both black and white. It comes with one brush head, and in three months, you'll need a new one. (Lots of types are available.)
