I've been combing through the just-opened Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for all the best workwear… and here are our picks! What are your favorite things in the sale this year, readers? What are you eager to stock up on, or try out in the sale?

Curious what the NAS is? It's a once-yearly sale from Nordstrom where they mark down NEW fall merchandise for a limited time — after the sale is over the prices go back up. Cardholders get to shop before the general public — and good stuff does tend to go!

The sale JUST opened for “Icons,” and tomorrow it will open for Ambassadors, and July 11 it will open for the final tier, Influencers. The sale will open for the public on July 15. • Oura Ring – I've wanted one of these for a while and may have to pull the trigger on this deal. Oooh and now I see they also have a Whoop band. Hmmmn… (Update: I ordered the Whoop 4.0 because I didn't know my size with the Oura Ring… I'll keep you posted!)
• Trtl travel pillow – I've seen readers saying good things about this weird travel pillow, but the price is on the higher side… but it's marked down today.
• Shark FlexStyle – I'm a fan of Shark hair products and have been happily using their hairdryer for a while now — their airwrap/no heat curler is in the sale today and I'm mightily tempted!
• Built bars – they're a bit weird but they're one of my favorite protein bars. (The Puff bars are particularly weird but I like them — very squooshy and marshmallowy.)
• 5-shelf corner shelf — I don't remember why I had this on one of my personal lists, but it's under $25 in select colors (down from $65+) — “dark walnut” seems to be the best deal
• I always like to load up on Anker power cords and power strips while they're on sale
• Julep cream eyeshadow sticks – I feel like I buy 1 or 2 of these every Prime Day sale — this year i have copper shimmer in my cart; in years past I've also bought and liked their taupe, rose, a light purple, a dark brown…

Beauty Deals in Prime Day 2024

Big brands I'm seeing with lots of deals include:

• Laneige – I've got the lip mask in my cart…
• Butter Nail products – I'm not a huge nail person but I've been very happy with the Butter base coats/top coats and so forth I've bought over the years. (Also lots of deals on Kur, Sally Hansen, and OPI…)
• Olaplex (including No. 3!! My curly hair really like this hair mask about once a month – it's great for defrizzing it)
• Alterna Caviar – Their products are some of my favorites when I'm not doing the Curly Girl method – tons of deals from Living Proof and Ouai also
• Urban Decay – They have mini Naked palettes on sale, as well as lippies, setting sprays, and eyeliners — I got this “works for everyone” pink last year (“Backtalk”) and am considering the same color in their liquid lip, which I've tried before and really liked the consistency
• IT Cosmetics – one of my favorite undereye concealers, plus they have a ton of foundation
• Lots of blushes, sheer lip tints, and more from Laura Geller
• Drybar Round Dryer Brush – I haven't tried this one, but I've heard good buzz about it as being a step up from the $40ish Revlon dryer brush that everyone loves.
• Big deals on skincare products from Kiehl's, Paula's Choice, Ursa Major, Obaji, and COSRX
• Sunscreen deals from Supergoop! and La Roche Posay
• If you have curly hair, I love Ecoslay – their Orange Marmalade gel is one of my holy grails. There are also deals on Devacurl and Ouidad
• If you like shampoo bars, there are a ton in the sale
• Lots of electric toothbrushes
• Drugstore makeup like Burt's Bees and Maybelline
• Great deals on drugstore skin products like CeraVe and Mighty Patch (and, OOH, my personal favorite exfoliating facial cleanser)
• I saw a dermotologist recommend these on TikTok, so now I have some – they're these weird collagen-infused masks for your under-chin area, and there are a lot of sizes in the sale!
• I'm really into this lip tint from Peripera — I have it in “Rose in Mind” and am going to try two other colors because I like it so much. Goes on looking glossy but then becomes matte and keeps your lips moisturized for a long while. Love it. I've also written about my love of this liquid blush from Youthforia before, also.
